These are nice and really do help with the wind however their design is all friction based. And you can only tighten the screws just so much or you risk breakage - leaving some "wiggle" room if you try to move them. In our case we try to move it to a nearby shelf during summer months so we can use the top of the firepit as a table however moving it really takes four hands (one holding each section) and movement in tandem to get it to its destination. And fingerprints. BUT... overall it is very well made and the glass is coated, clear and thick. Super well packaged and nothing missing or broken.
